The Land of Hildegard in the Rhineland of central Germany offers an unforgettable pilgrimage experience combining the beauty of nature, the richness of medieval history, and the deep inspiration of Hildegard’s spiritual legacy. We invite you to join us on our upcoming journey to discover Hildegard in her homeland.

Walking in the Footsteps of Saint Hildegard is a ten-day small group pilgrimage through the Land of Hildegard in west-central Germany, taking place September 12–22, 2026. Saint Hildegard von Bingen is revered worldwide as a remarkable medieval mystic, musical composer, theologian, and healer. During this memorable journey we will visit the towns, villages, ruins, and churches connected to her life and legacy — including the Disibodenberg ruins, the Benedictine Hildegard Abbey in Eibingen, and the Hildegard Pilgrimage Church where her holy shrine and relics are kept. The itinerary includes guided tour days, spa days, scenic walks, and the capstone celebration of Saint Hildegard’s Feast Day on September 17. See our FAQ for full details on what is included.

Join us for a special presentation by Heather Boyle and Michael M. Conti featuring photography and video from the Land of Hildegard. Discover the beauty of this pilgrimage and learn about the planned activities, hikes, meals, and accommodations. We will answer your questions and you will have the opportunity to connect with other Hildegardians interested in joining this journey. Reach out to be notified of upcoming streaming presentations.
