“As I sat quietly in the small Protestant church in Niederhosenbach, I couldn’t help but notice how similar it is to the small community church that I grew up and attended as child. We were able to see the facsimile edition of Hildegard’s Liber Scivias, it was open the page of her famous mandala, “The Trinity”, and then we listening to some of her music. It sent my heart soaring. Our afternoon continued with a spectacular walk through the rolling farm fields and forests until we reached the pretty village of Herrstein. On this day especially, I felt a deep connection with Hildegard’s childhood and journey. “
